Assignments A submitted .docx file might not render good within the Assignment Grader. Pages of the original document might miss within the Assignment Grader view or not be visible at all.  Brightspace uses LibreOffice to display documents within the Assignment Grader. The problem occurs because of the document conversion process. Since Microsoft’s native file formats are proprietary, there’s always a chance they may not convert to PDF accurately- or at all.  To ensure consistent rendering either:

Let students submit files in PDF format.

or

Download the original file for local viewing.
Student submits a .docx file via assignments.

When a teacher wants to review the submission and opens the .docx file in Brightspace itself, the Assignment  Grader Viewer might not show all the content from the original file.
Completion Summary When a teacher opens a document from the Completion Summary to grade a student's assignment and then opens a different assignment from the same student; the document viewer does not refresh properly. As a result; the teacher may believe they are grading the correct document while in reality; the previous document is still displayed.

This issue can lead to incorrect grading and feedback. A hard refresh (F5) resolves the issue; but this is not a practical workaround.

Assignments When submitting an assignment via inline activities (Content) the Add a File button does not work properly.  Students are not able to use the Add a File button when submitting an assignment via content > unit > assignment. Below the Add a File button it is possible to drop the file or to click for browsing the file. By doing so the student is still able to submit an assignment. Student goes to the assignment via content > unit > assignment. Clicks on the Add a File button
Quizzes Unable to start the quiz attempt due to the chosen language. The Start Quiz button is grayed out. The student is not able to start the quiz. The student changes the langue pack into English.  The quiz has unlimited attempts and the student has the language pack set to Dutch or German.
