New: Meet Bright! The Brightspace Chatbot.
The Bright support assistant is a help tool integrated directly into Brightspace. It provides immediate access to help documentation without needing to open another browser tab or window. The assistant offers support articles based on the user's role at the organization level and the market segment associated with the organization. It can help users find relevant resources, complete tasks, and access step-by-step guides and video tutorials within the product. The assistant is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
You can find Bright in the bottom right of your Brightspace page. The icon looks like this:
After opening the chatbot, you can type your question or record it by clicking on the microphone. Make sure to give the chatbot a clear prompt and avoid using only search terms. If your question is not answered properly, you can always click on "Contact Support" so the Brightspace Help Desk can assist you personally.
Bulk enroll users in multiple courses and sections
To make user enrollment easier, the Brightspace contact person of your school can use an enrollment form. Within the form, you can make several choices depending on what you want to enroll users in. After making a choice, a step-by-step guide is displayed to fill out the form correctly. You can find the form here.
New integration of Turnitin
Turnitin is now integrated into the Brightspace assignment workflow through a new integration, improving the plagiarism checking process. This enhances user convenience as there is no longer a need to create a separate assignment for plagiarism checks.
