Classlist – export Classlist details to CSV and improved Print output
Lecturer A can now export Classlist details to CSV. The Export button enables full or partial user exports that mirror the Classlist view content for offline or administrative use.
Printed Classlists now include pronouns (if visible) and course identifiers, providing a more complete context for in-person workflows and record keeping.
Quizzes – Improvements to the Quizzes evaluation
The quiz evaluation experience now includes an Incorrect filter that lets instructors quickly view answers marked incorrect. In addition, feedback fields automatically expand as needed, providing more space to review and enter feedback.
Instructors can now filter the quiz questions to review only the questions a learner answered incorrectly. This enhancement helps instructors identify trends and determine whether updates to questions or instructional materials are needed.
Previously, the available filters were Pending Evaluation and Retaken questions only. With this update, the new Incorrect filter displays only questions marked incorrect.
Additionally, feedback fields for questions are now displayed as a single line and automatically expand when instructors enter additional comments. Previously, the Feedback field for each question displayed several lines even when no feedback was entered, requiring users to scroll unnecessarily.
The chatbot provides now proactive notifications
The chatbot can now reach out to users proactively, without waiting for them to start a conversation. An Administrator can configure notifications to appear when a user loads a page, spends a set amount of time on it, or opens the chat window. Each notification lands in the user's inbox and can be set to allow an immediate reply, which the assistant will treat as the start of a conversation. You control how often the same notification is shown once per user, once per session, once per page, or every time the condition is met.
We use proactive notifications selectively during periods in which we know that the demand for support and specific functionality significantly increases. In practice, this means that notifications are primarily activated:
- at the start of the academic year;
- during assessment and examination periods.
During these peak moments, students and staff often need guidance on frequently used functionality, such as course access, assignment and video submissions, or other questions related to key Brightspace tools.
