When students submit assignments using the File or Text Submission type and embed videos through the text editor, the submission is converted into an HTML file. The embedded video does not display inline on the submission page.

1. Download the HTML file from the submission.
2. Open the file in a web browser to view the embedded video.

Use the Text Submission assignment type instead of File or Text Submission to avoid this problem.

1. Create an assignment with the File or Text Submission type.
2. Open the text submission editor as a student.
3. Insert a Kaltura video using Insert Stuff → Kaltura.
4. Submit the assignment.
5. View the submission. It appears as an HTML file instead of displaying the video inline.
