You might have noticed that some channel thumbnails are currently missing and appear as a gray box. This is related to a recent system migration.

Here’s what happened:

• Some channels had a thumbnail linked to a “migrated entry” in our system. During the migration, these connections were broken, which is why the thumbnail no longer appears.
• Kaltura is aware of the issue and is working to restore the broken thumbnail connections.

A couple of important notes about thumbnails:

Using the reset option will revert the thumbnail to the system default (based on the most recent media published or the channel type) and will not restore previously used custom thumbnails.
