Once you are logged in to TimeEdit, you will arrive at the home screen. From here, you can start working in TimeEdit.
This guide is intended for everyone who contributes to recording the educational offerings in TimeEdit. It explains how to use TimeEdit, describes the basic functions, and provides helpful tips.
Home screen explanation
- Notifications bell: Indicates if you have any notifications waiting.
- Language selection: Set TimeEdit to English or Dutch.
- Search bar: You can perform a search directly. Under All types, you search per ‘object’ type. This opens the selection screen.
Under Advanced search, you can apply filters.
4. Profile: View your personal information, assigned roles, and adjust notification settings.
5. Dashboard: Returns you to the home screen from anywhere in TimeEdit.
6. Academies: Opens the academy structure to view educational offerings. You cannot make changes here.
Note: Also referred to as the course catalog.
Click on an educational product to open a separate tab with details such as exam components and courses.
7. Academic year selector: Choose the study year for which you want to view information. Data may differ per year.
If information appears to be missing, always check that you are viewing the correct academic year.
Dashboard
Openstaande taken open tasks: Shows tasks assigned to you. Click on a task to start working on it.
Meldingen notifications: Contains messages shared by functional management.
Mijn rollen my roles: Displays all roles assigned to you.
Note: You do not have to complete a task in one session. Your progress is saved automatically, and the dashboard shows up to which page you have reached.
Workflow and workflow pages
Tasks assigned to you consist of a workflow:
- he workflow consists of multiple pages. Depending on the page, you will see different information and can modify certain fields.
- You start on the Introduction page, which gives a brief explanation of what is expected in this workflow. Below, you see the steps defined in the process and a highlighted color indicates the current step.
Tip: Click a step to get more information. - Click Next to go to the next page.
Tip: You can also click directly on the page you want to go to.
4. Each workflow page shows specific information relevant to the process. Depending on the page type, you may or may not be able to edit certain fields.
5. Pages may begin with a short explanation.
The Finalize page always concludes the workflow. This page indicates the next workflow or activity.
Important: You can go back one step within a workflow. Once the workflow is finalized, returning to a previous step is no longer possible.
Depending on the process status, a workflow may also be Rejected, which sends it back a step. When finalizing the workflow, you must provide an explanation.
After finalizing, the task disappears from the dashboard.
