The media content of Saxion was previously stored on a server located in the USA. To comply with GDPR regulations, this data has now been migrated to a server in Europe. The migration process was largely automated. However, there are still a few important actions that media owners on Saxion’s video platform need to be aware of. One of these is replacing previously inserted links to playlists and interactive videos.

Have you shared playlists or interactive videos on other websites by using a link? If so, please update these links after the data migration. The old links no longer work following the migration.

What is a playlist link?

A playlist is a collection of videos shared through a single video player. You can create a playlist by going to My Playlists. From there, you can copy the playlist link and share it as needed.

Example of a playlist in My Playlists:

When opening the old link, you will receive an error message like the one shown in the image below, with the text: Access Denied.

1. Go to the relevant playlist or interactive video on https://media.saxion.nl
2. Click on "Share" and copy the new link.
3. Replace the old link on the corresponding website.
