What is Edusources?

Review by the Saxion Library Copyright Information Centre

Your media file has now been published to the channel. However, it will not be visible immediately, as it first needs to be reviewed by information specialists from the Saxion Library. They check whether the metadata fields have been filled in correctly and whether copyright requirements have been met. If there are any questions, the media owner will be contacted. Once the media file has been approved, it will be automatically published on Edusources, where others will be able to use your media.

Good to know

  • The source will remain available in the media platform media.saxion.nl. On Edusources, a page will be published containing all metadata and a link to the source in our own media platform.
  • You help colleagues by sharing your materials.
  • You increase the visibility of your work.
  • You contribute to open education!

The integration with Edusources is not yet live at the time of writing. However, media can already be added using the steps described above. Once the integration goes live, any prepared media will be automatically included.
