You can review the (inline)feedback in two ways:
Lecturers can give feedback using Annotations in Brightspace. With this, they can mark, underline, draw, make notes, and arrows in handed-in assignments. You can see the annotations and use them to write a new version of your assignment.
Navigate via Assignments
- Navigate to Course Tools using the navigationbar of the course.
- Click on Assignments.
You can see whether a lecturer has provided feedback and if you have already read this or not.
- Click on Read/Unread to see the feedback.
If the lecturer has used annotations, you can see View Inline Feedback under the Inline Feedback header. Click on this to see the annotations, this will open in a new window.
Navigate via Grades
- Navigate to Grades using the navigationbar of your course.
- Under the header Comments and Assessments you can see the inline feedback if it has been provided. Click on View inline feedback to see the annotations. The assignment with annotations will open in a new window.
- you can see the submitted assignment with the annotations. In the example provided below, you can see a yellow marked text, red lines and a text box with an explanation. The green check is a note. You can read this by hovering over the check. Lecturers can use a variety of symbols to indicate different notes.
- In the grey bar on the top, you can perform actions. On the left, you can:
- Add navigation windows or bookmarks to the document;
- Navigate through the pages;
- Change your cursor to a hand;
- Zoom in and out;
- Change the view of the text.
- On the right, you can:
- Print the file with annotations;
- Search the document;
- Download the file with annotations in a PDF format.
Attention! When you have handed in a document with detailed graphs, models, or formulas, it is possible that these look different in the inline feedback document. This is because Brightspace transforms the file to a PDF format.
