You can link Rubrics to assignments and discussion boards in Brightspace. This allows you to do an assessment using a Rubric and transfer the assessment to Grades.

How do I link a Rubric to an Assignment?
- Open the Edit assignment page of an assignment to which you want to link a rubric.
- Scroll down to Evaluation and Feedback.
- Click Add Rubric.
- A pop up screen will open, select the desired Rubric and then the Add Selected.
- Then save it, select Save and Close.
How do I link a Rubric to a Discussion Topic?
- Open the Edit Topic screen of the Discussion topic to which you want to link a rubric.
- Scroll down to Evaluation and Feedback.
- Click Add Rubric.
- A pop up screen will open, select the desired Rubric and then the Add Selected.
- Then save it, select Save and Close.
How do I unlink a Rubric?
- Click on Course Tools in the navigation bar of your course.
- Click Assignments or Discussions.
- Click Edit Assignment of Discussions.
- Click on the cross next to the Rubric.
- Save.
