How do I manage Announcements?

In the Announcements homepage you can easily edit, organize or delete announcements. There you will find an overview of all announcements, published or unpublished.

  • Go to Course Admin in the course navigation bar.
  • Click Announcements.

OR

Via Course Home:

  • At Announcements on the right side of the screen, click on the header Announcements.
  1. Click on the arrow next to the title of the announcement to expand the management menu.
    • Edit: The same options are available as when creating an Announcement
    • View: view the entire Announcement
    • Dismiss from widget: This option makes the Announcement invisible on the home page
    • Delete: delete the announcement
    • Copy: copy the announcement
  2. To delete multiple announcements at once, select them using the checkbox to the left of the Title. Click Delete to remove them.
  3. To retrieve deleted announcements, choose More Actions and go to Restore. Select the announcements you want to restore and click Restore. To change the order of announcements, click on Reorder.

When editing an announcement, you can choose Major edit - send a notification and restore it for those who dismissed it. A new notification with the updated version will be sent to all course users.
