This video explains all the situations where you need an online lesson, both in a fully online and hybrid setting.

If you do not use a Teams environment with your Brightspace course, you can quickly and easily create an online class via your Teams Calendar.

1. Go to Calendar in Teams
2. Click on New meeting

1. Name the meeting/online class
2. It is not necessary to invite students or groups
3. Set the meeting/online class options
4. Click Save

1. Open the created online class again (double click on the meeting in your agenda)
2. Right-click on the link that allows you to join the meeting.
3. Click Copy Link.

You can share this link with the students yourself so that they can participate in the online class. For example, in a Brightspace message that you only send to your class.

You can create a channel meeting from your Teams environment created in Brightspace. This is especially recommended if you have a Teams environment per section. Or when you have one Teams environment for all classes, but have manually created shared channels per class within it.

In the Homepage of your course, click the link to the Teams environment associated with the course.

• Your teams environment opens. If you have a team per section, create a channel for example "Online classes"

* If you have one team environment for all classes, first create a "shared channel" for each class to which you add the users. You will find instructions for this here.

• When you're in the right channel, click Meet -> Schedule a meeting

• Enter a clear title and description of the class and click Send

• The online class is now visible as a channel meeting. All students can participate through the channel. Questions asked in the chat will also be saved under this meeting.
