In Brightspace, you can use View Reports to gain insight into how the content in your course is being used. You can, among other things, see which content items students have visited, how often they have been visited, and how much time was spent on them.
View reports
- Open the relevant course in Brightspace.
- Go to Content.
- In the left-hand vertical menu, click the gear icon in the top right.
- Select View Reports.
View the Report
In the report, you can find information about how students use the content items. You can view, among other things, the following information:
- the number of visits to the content item;
- which students have viewed the content item;
- when a student viewed the content item;
- the amount of time spent on the content item.
This information gives you insight into how students use the content in your course. b
Via the Users tab, you can view which content items each student has visited. Click on a student to view more details, such as the number of visits, the average time spent, and when the content item was last visited.
